Andrew J. Volstead c. 1921

Andrew John Volstead (1860 - 1947) represented Minnesota in the United States House of Representatives from 1903 - 1923, as a member of the Republican Party. Volstead collaborated with Wayne Wheeler of the anti-Saloon League, to draft a national prohibition bill.
